Vandal-Resistant Doors

Designed with continuous 18-gage interior vertical stiffeners running the full height of the door — spaced 6 in. on center — and filled with fiberglass or structural polystyrene insulation in the hollow cavities.

The Stiffened Door is intended for openings with very high traffic and abusive operating conditions. Thanks to its rigidity, the Stiffened Door is the best option for protection against vandalism and for applications that demand increased security, performance, and cycle life.

Available in 16-gage and 18-gage cold-rolled steel or A60 galvannealed sheet. The Stiffened Door carries fire-rating certification (UL, Intertek/WH, and FM) up to three hours. Vision lites and louvers can be specified, and the door is prepped for hardware compliant with ANSI 115.

Available leaf sizes range from 2′-0″ to 4′-0″ wide, and 6′-8″ to 8′-0″ tall.
