Sliding Fire Doors
Industrial warehouses and large storage buildings often present high fire risk, but their opening dimensions make conventional swing-type fire-rated doors impractical. For these applications MMI manufactures horizontal sliding fire doors, which protect very large openings with the same rated fire resistance — up to 3 hours.
Sliding fire doors are fabricated from 16-gage cold-rolled steel panels and include a counterweight system, pulls, track, and fusible links — all installed in accordance with NFPA 80.
