Detention Doors

MMI developed its detention door line to serve projects with demanding construction and security specifications. We offer panels built around a 2″ × 2″ structural tube (PTR) core; depending on the requirements of the space, the face sheets can be fully smooth sheet steel, or they can incorporate perforated sheet, welded wire mesh, or ballistic polycarbonate.

Additional integrated components are available — food pass-throughs, slide bolts, electromechanical locks, detention position switches (DPS), pulls, and more — giving our detention products exceptional flexibility for swing or sliding operation in cells, sally ports, segregation areas, and administrative zones.
