MMI sound-rated doors are the ideal solution for buildings requiring reduction of sound transmission between spaces.
Built in accordance with ASTM E90-90 and ASTM E413-87, following ANSI/SDI A250.8-1998 guide specifications, for sound transmission up to STC 43.
Constructed with 16-gage face sheets, perimeter and bottom sound-seal gasketing, and a 16-gage double-rabbet frame — all engineered to maximize acoustic performance.
Maximum fabrication size is 4′-0″ × 8′-0″. Hardware preparations conform to ANSI 115.
Ideal for installation in recording studios, conference rooms, libraries, schools, clinics and hospitals, airports, film editing suites, and any environment where excessive ambient noise must be controlled.
